Carroll County Crops Reuben and Rebecca Brubaker
574-686-4194
space #1 & 2
Fruits, Vegetables, Flowers and Misc.

Nestled along the banks of Little Deer Creek in Carroll County, our farm consists of 10 acres of garden and 12 acres of woods. Sap from the sugar maple trees throughout the woods is harvested in early spring to produce our own pure maple syrup. A heated greenhouse and some high tunnels in which crops are planted directly into the soil allow us to extend the growing season and offer early produce, the most popular being tomatoes in early June. We also raise flowers in the greenhouse, the majority of which go into hanging baskets. Out of the other 10 acres of garden comes an abundance of fresh produce from lettuce, broccoli, peas, potatoes, and strawberries in the spring to beans, tomatoes, pepper, and melons in the summer, to pumpkins and winter squash in the fall.

Cooley Family Farm was established in 2001 on a few acres near Lafayette, Indiana on the corner of County Road 900 East and Highway 26. The farm began as 6 acres with a house and a barn that had been built in 1901. Since then we have added four high tunnels creating over 7000 square feet of indoor growing space and rent additional acres. Our farming practices have always been sustainable by nature. We do not use any synthetic chemicals to control weeds or insects.
