CELEBRATION DAYJuly 24
Celebrate the peak of the Market season. Dulcimers will play from 8 to 9 A.M. and local artist, Scott Greeson, will add live entertainment from 9 A.M. to NOON. Kiwanis Peanut Day, DMG’s StarCity Dancers perform between 10 to 10:30 A.M., First Class Only Civic Youth Theatre’s Traveling Thespians from 10:30 to 11 A.M., Clowns from Smiles Unlimited will entertain children with balloon art and face painting from 9 A.M. to NOON, quick-sketch charcoal portraits by Stacy Bogan.
PURDUE DAY AT THE MARKETAugust 21
Angie Klink, author of “Purdue Pete Finds His Hammer” and “I Found U”, will do book signings from 9:30 to 11:30 A.M. Purdue Pete will also be on hand to do a signing of the Purdue book, pose for photographs, and provide autographs from 10:30 to 11:30 A.M. Many vendors will be dressed in black and gold and have their booth spaces decorated as well. Stacy Bogan will be on hand for quick-sketch charcoal portraits. Other activities TBD. .
HARVESTFESTOctober 9
Decorated booth spaces, free fall recipes, fall crafts, fall fruit and vegetable tastings. Entertainment by Triple S Sassy Snake Stompers from 10 to 10:30 A.M. Stacy Bogan will be on hand for quick-sketch charcoal portraits. Other activities TBD.
